Accessibility Statement

Long Lane 2 Ltd Last updated: April 2026

‍

Our Commitment

Long Lane 2 Ltd is committed to ensuring that longlane.co.uk is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology used to access it.

‍

As a private business operating in the UK, we have obligations under the Equality Act 2010 not to discriminate against people with disabilities and to make reasonable adjustments to ensure equal access to our services. We take this obligation seriously and aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA — the recognised standard for accessible web design in the UK.

‍

What This Means in Practice

We aim to ensure that visitors to our site can:

‍

  • Navigate and use the site using a keyboard alone, without a mouse
  • Use the website with a screen reader or other assistive technology
  • Resize text within their browser without loss of functionality
  • Understand content without relying solely on colour to convey meaning
  • Access our booking and application journeys on a mobile device without loss of core functionality

‍

Our Current Accessibility Position

Our website is in active development ahead of our opening. We have sought to build accessibility in from the outset, including:

‍

  • Logical heading structure and semantic HTML to support screen reader navigation
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
  • Descriptive alt text for images
  • Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements
  • Clearly labelled form fields across all booking and application journeys

‍

We recognise that as development continues, some pages or features may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We are actively working to identify and address any shortfalls, and we will conduct a full accessibility audit ahead of opening.

‍

Known Limitations

We will list any specific known accessibility issues here as they are identified, along with our plan to resolve them. This section will be updated on an ongoing basis.

‍

Contact Us

If you experience any difficulty using our website, or if a particular page or feature is not accessible to you, please get in touch. We will do our best to provide the information you need in an alternative format and to resolve the issue promptly.

‍
